The Society’s annual summer exhibition took place on Tuesday, 15th July until Saturday, 19th July in the Town Hall, Tewkesbury. The members’ preview took place on Tuesday 15th together with a buffet lunch (provided by members). In addition, this year, the exhibition was open on the Tuesday afternoon from 2pm – 4pm.

Each year there are three trophies awarded: The Kershaw Cup, the Summer challenge cup and the People’s choice plate. Winners get to look after the trophy for one year and have their name engraved.

This year the Kershaw Cup was awarded to Madeleine Jephcott for her painting “Ice King”.

The Summer Challenge cup was also won by Madeleine for her painting “Stripes without the stars”.
Runners up were John Rix and Marilyn Brand.

Linda Tyre won the People’s choice for her painting ”Winter Landscape”.
Runners up were Lois Reed (“Cottage at Forthampton”) and Rosemary Frith (“Cornwall”).
